An individual abuse prevention plan shall be developed for each new person as part of the initial individual program plan or service plan required under the applicable licensing rule Regulations require agencies providing home care
services to develop abuse prevention plans for each client. This program will assist agencies in developing assessment tools and documentation guidelines to demonstrate compliance. The assessment will determine the agency care plan, but may also demonstrate the need to report the client as a vulnerable adult. Discussion around specific scenarios will be incorporated.
